Gold medals were awarded to All Black halfback Andy Ellis and his mate Danny Kamo from John Marsh Landscape Architects with their "grown up" garden. There is no cricket, beers or barbecue this year, instead the duo are making a serious statement about the impact humans are having on the environment and the planet's natural resources.

The Sustainability with Style garden will evoke many memories with visitors to the show. It’s an edible feast that delights in so many ways. This is a tremendous example of a garden that completes closely and stacks up against the bigger budget gardens to get very close to winning a gold medal. Award silver distinction, this will be a crown pleaser.

The Floral marquee is looking immaculate with plenty of creative and cheeky designs. ‘A moment in time’ by MK design is a joy and its set to make a few visitors a little clucky.
