Growing garden knowledge
The modern gardener is increasingly turning to the computer as an essential gardening tool, utilising a rich range of online resources.
With two new online short courses – Designing your Garden and Designing your Living Space – Inchbald School of Design offers enthusiastic, but time-poor, aspiring home and garden designers opportunities to grow their knowledge in the 21st Century.
These certificated e-courses extend the school’s portfolio of qualifications which includes MAs, post- and undergraduate diplomas, certificate courses in Architectural Interior Design, Interior Decoration and Garden Design, and short courses in computer-aided design.
Each course follows a 12-week model – approximately four hours each week – during which students will develop design ideas, and receive guidance from an assigned personal tutor.
Teaching sessions include practical projects to develop knowledge and confidence. Students will also have access to course materials and dedicated microsites during the programme.
Designing your Garden is available from April; Designing your Living Space from September.
