Welcome back to Garden-NZ. Winter is now officially half way through and the frosts and cold days we have been having make it seem like a very long season indeed. On the up side these cold days are great for killing of bugs and diseases that may be lingering around.
This week we feature all you need to know about growing Camellias and Boysenberries. Compost systems for flats and apartments and David Brittain shares with us some good ways to deal with (Rats and mice)[] in the home and garden. If you are a foodie like me you must try our new recipe this week, it's a winner! Next year the Canterbury horticultural society will be celebrating 150 years with a majestic exhibit at The Ellerslie Flower Show in march, take a sneak peak as to what they are up too. And remember to enter all our competitions too.
