Morris & James – creators of distinctive environments. Morris & James has been making pots, tiles and decorative ceramics on the banks of the Matakana River for over 25 years and is famous for its rich, vibrant glazes. The translucence and depth of the glaze evoke a sense of seeing through a stream of pure colour. All products are individually handcrafted by local artisans in the pottery's workshops. The extensive range of products on sale at Matakana includes a brand new range of contemporary pieces – not only pots and platters but stunning wall panels and architectural ceramics. Morris & James offers a colour matching service and can adapt designs to meet individual customer requirements. Morris & James also supplies selected retailers throughout New Zealand.

A visit to the Morris & James Matakana showroom, in the heart of Matakana Coast Wine Country, just one hour from Auckland, makes the perfect great day out. The courtyard café serves food freshly prepared on the premises each day, and specializes in wines from local vineyards.
