How much waste does your household add to landfills every week? If you're like many households around New Zealand your local council is encouraging recycling, and has reduced or is going to reduce the amount of rubbish it collects from you.
So how do you do your bit without turning your back lawn into your very own rubbish dump? And how does good gardening fit into all this?
Earthmaker Enterprises Ltd brings you the Earthmaker Composter, a revolutionary organic waste processor with a three bin process. Here's how it works:
Add food, garden waste and lawn clippings to the top chamber. When full, remove the pull-out panel to allow material to fall to the next chamber down. When the middle chamber is full or has digested, use the push-pull tool to move material to the bottom chamber where it matures and can be used for the garden.
The Earthmaker is manufactured in New Zealand by Perroplas One Ltd, and distributed to the following retailers:
The Warehouse Plastic Box Placemakers Payless Plastics Palmers Mitre 10 Hardwarehouse Hammer Hardware Benchmark
